On the training you will
- learn the basic standards of writing and formatting legal documentation in English;
- consolidate and automate certain skills and abilities, including special vocabulary, synonyms and antonyms for special vocabulary, cliches of certain frequently used standard phrases, punctuation marks;
- learn to independently compose and write any legal document in English, observing the style and basic standards and rules of Legal English, using specialized vocabulary;
- learn to freely and correctly understand/interpret the content of legal documents received from foreign jurisdictions (agreements, contracts, memoranda, legal opinions, court decisions, arbitral awards, etc.).
On the full course you will
- get acquainted with the standards of writing and formatting legal documentation and business correspondence of lawyers in English;
- earn to distinguish between the styles of legal English used in the USA and the UK;
- get answers to questions from seminar participants regarding legal English;
- understand the specifics of Legal English, and also significantly improve the quality of Legal English used in practice;
- consolidate all the acquired knowledge in practice.
