Duman has a rich 23-year experience in advising clients and representing clients in courts and arbitration. His finely and skillfully performing in courts It is the result of longstanding practice in participating in courts in various instances both in the position of the plaintiff and in the position of the defendant in cases of any complexity.

I. Litigation

• Sitek Caspian LLP. Representing the Client, a joint Italian-Kazakh oilfield services company providing a wide range of services in the field of electrical and measurement works, energy, petrochemical and pharmaceutical industries in a dispute with the Debtor, a diversified company providing construction and engineering services in the oil and gas sector.
• Goodrich Central Asia LLP. Legal support of debt recovery in favor of the large company providing transportation and warehousing services, for freight forwarding services for delivery of containers from abroad from a transnational company (the Defendant) in the appeal instance. The first instance refused to recover the debt.
• Pladis Kazakhstan LLP. Representation of interests of a Foreign Company (a company with foreign participation, which is a city-forming enterprise of the city of Almaty region). The tax authority tried to invalidate the transactions of the Foreign Enterprise and to charge significant additional taxes for the period of the Enterprise's activity at the specified time.
• A large manufacturer of military equipment: representation of interests of the Client in a dispute against the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan on recognition of the Client as a bad-faith party to a public procurement transaction. A global company operating in the field of wholesale distribution of transportation equipment and supplies: representation of interests of the Client in a dispute against the Kazakhstan National Road Operator relating to termination of an investment contract.
• A large investment company: representation of interests of the Client in a dispute with a major Kazakhstan bank relating to the early debt collection as a result of the failure to comply with the terms of the loan agreement.
• An international transport company: representation of interests of the Client in a dispute against Kazakh National Railway Operator on recovery of damages due to derailment.
• A major construction company: representation of interests of the Client in a dispute against local city administration on demanding and obtaining of land plots that purchased for construction.

• A global provider of airline catering solutions and services provider: representing the interests of the leading global provider of airline catering solutions and provisioning services for airlines trial settlement of a dispute with International Airport (a Kazakhstani company) on the recovery of the amount under the Agreement on joint economic activity. • SITEK Caspian: Representing the interests of the Client, a joint Italian-Kazakh oil service company, in a dispute regarding the recovery of liability against a large Kazakh diversified company providing construction and engineering services in the oil and gas world.

• International Investment Fund: Claim settlement and risk assessment on potential litigation. Representing the interests of a large international investment company in a court dispute and in negotiations with a second- tier bank in order to release immovable commercial property (in a foreign country) from bail.
• International property construction assessment company: Preliminary analysis and strategy of defense in litigation. Representation of the Client's interest in court to recover the amount of indebtedness. Advising on matters of proper calculation of debts.
• The Transnational Consortium of Infrastructure Construction Corporations: Advising on Kazakh public-private partnership law. Legal support in negotiations with state authority with regard to the preparation of the package of requested documents-provision of advice upon types, forms, and contests of documents.
